Desde hace unas horas han abierto la web del delitrante programa de Stuart Davis realizado en Boulder, Colorado. Con un humor muy particular e incluso controvertido. Es una gozada ver cómo hace uso de las nuevas tecnologías lo máximo posible con su canal de Vimeo, Twitter, Flickr y demás servicios de la llamada Web 2.0.

Esta semana en el podcast the Buddhist Geeks, Vince Hom y Ryun Oelke entrevistan a Stuart Davis y éste nos cuenta los últimos embolados en lo que está metido. Tiene a punto de publicar dos libros (en EEUU) por la editorial Shambala, y cuyo editor será Ken Wilber. El primero de estos dos libros se llamará Sex, God and Rock’n Roll, como su nuevo show televisivo. Una hora de comedia pop que empieza con un monólogo de cinco minutos, después unos diez minutos de noticias y después una entrevista a gente de corte humanista, y después Ken Wilber integra (telefónicamente) lo que se ha ido mostrando en el show. Además, comenta Stuart, que ha creado un lenguaje como hobby (¡vaya tela!). Y termina hablando de lo que significó para él empezar la práctica del budismo zen.

Con ese nombre tan llamativo a bautizado Stuart Davis a su último proyecto, esta vez un programa de televisión que está siendo filmado en Boulder, Colorado. En formato comedia, noticias y entrevistas con maestros espirituales e iconos poco convencionales de una hora. Ken Wilber estará presente vía conversación telefónica cada semana. Será lanzado un sistema de subscripciones para poder ver los episodios en alta resolución, así como un montón de extras, dicen. Ya han tenido lugar los tres primeros shows, cada viernes desde el uno de noviembre, y en inglés eso sí. Aunque todavía no he tenido la oportunidad de verlos, veremos a ver como se desarrolla todo, el precio de la subscripción y si los extras merecen la pena.
