La expresión manifiesta del Dios viviente es la urgencia por ser – ese mismo impulso creativo original detrás de la causa primigenia que milagrosamente está empezando a despertar a sí mismo en la luz de nuestra conciencia evolucionada. Ésta compulsión extática emergente es lo que llamo el Yo Auténtico, en ti y en mi. Aquellos de nosotros que seriamente nos encontramos comprometidos por la promesa de un futuro nuevo y un contexto mayor para la vida humana encontraremos una fuente infinita de energía e inspiración cuando descubramos cómo llevar montar en las alas del Yo Auténtico. Y creo firmemente que esa es la única manera de dar un paso más allá del predicado postmoderno. On the Wings of the Authentic Self
The manifest expression of the living God is the felt urge to become—that same original creative impulse behind the first cause that miraculously is beginning to awaken to itself in the light of our own evolved consciousness. This emerging ecstatic compulsion is what I call the Authentic Self, in you and in me. Those of us who earnestly find ourselves compelled by the promise of a new future and a higher context for human life will find an infinite source of energy and inspiration when we discover how to ride on the wings of the Authentic Self. And I firmly believe that this is the only way we can take the next step beyond the postmodern predicament. It is only when we have the actual experience of transcending every trace of fear, self-consciousness, and arrogant self-importance, while fully embodying and embracing the powers of our evolved autonomy and intelligence, that we actually glimpse what’s possible for all of us right now.
