Hoy en día, con la llegada del calentamiento global y el palpable miedo hacia el conflicto o las revueltas nos hemos centrado en el tema de la supervivencia. Muchos de nosotros estamos preocupados en ver cómo vamos a salir de los tremendos retos que se nos presentan. Y tomando todo en cuenta, tiene sentido. Pero hay una gran diferencia entre preocuparse por como yo o nosotros vamos a sobrevivir y pensar seriamente en como vamos a evolucionar al nivel más profundo. La supervivencia y evolución no son necesariamente lo mismo. Es fácil experimentar preocupación sobre nuestra supervivencia, pero experimentar la urgencia sobre la necesidad por un desarrollo más alto que es sentido en la parte más profunda de nosotros mismo, en el alma, es otra cosa. Querer evolucionar a nivel de conciencia no es meramente querer sobrevivir-es experimentar una necesidad espiritualidad para que se de el desarrollo vertical a nivel individual y colectivo de modo que el mundo tal y como lo conocemos cambie dramáticamente de dentro a fuera.

Changing the World from the Inside Out

Nowadays, with the advent of global warming and the palpable fear of conflict and upheaval, we have become focused on the question of survival. Most of us are concerned with figuring out how we are going to make it through the tremendous challenges that are facing us. And all things considered, this makes sense. But there is an enormous difference between being concerned with how I or we are going to survive and thinking seriously about how I or we are going to actually evolve at the deepest level. Survival and evolution are not necessarily the same thing. It’s easy to experience concern about our survival, but to experience the urgency about the necessity for higher development that is felt in the deepest part of ourselves, in the soul, is another matter altogether. Wanting to evolve at the level of consciousness is not merely wanting to survive—it is experiencing a spiritually motivated need for vertical development to occur on an individual and collective level in such a way that the world as we know it changes dramatically from the inside out.
